Paddling History:
A half-day sea trip exploring stacks, caves & cliffs in Skye many moons ago grabbed my interest & imagination but I didn’t have the opportunity to do anything about it until the “Return to Sport” course in 2007. At the end of the course a small group of us, encouraged by Liquid Logistics, established the club. The club has enjoyed healthy development since (in terms of numbers, skills & abilities) and continues to promote all areas of the sport where possible.
As I would rather paddle than drive I’ve focussed on the sea, particularly since acquiring my boat last year (thanks Paul). I’m looking to complete the BCU/UKCC 3 Star Sea soon and working towards Level 1 Coach |
