Formed in 2007 The New Forest Kayak & Canoe Club is a new and fast growing kayak and canoe club based in the New Forest. The  club caters for both experienced and new paddlers (minimum BCU 1 star). The Club has members with  a range of interests which include white water, sea, surf, touring, play boating and open canoes.

The club organises a programme of events throughout the year; these include sea kayaking trips along the Hampshire and Dorset coasts, White water trips to Devon and Wales as well as some weekend trips. Please note that not all advanced level trips are advertised on the calendar and if you wish further information on the types of trip run please contact either the white water or sea kayak coordinator (contact details can be found on the committee web page). We meet regularly on Wednesday evenings throughout the year. In the winter, pool sessions are available to practice in the warm, in the spring and summer we move outside – generally onto the Beaulieu river. White water skills are practiced at Woodmill Weir when the tides are suitable  

Thanks to a grant from “Awards for All” the club now has a number of boats (white water and Sea kayaks) and other equipment available for club members to use for a nominal charge. See website for details.

The NFKCC forum is available to club members and includes a discussion board and an ever expanding gallery of photographs from club trips and other events. A small selection of pictures from the forum can be seen on the main website www.nfkcc.org.uk.
